Introduction

This 161 Acre park, which borders the Jerome Fork of the Mohican River, has a number of different kinds of very high quality wetlands, including burr reed marsh, buttonbush swamp, vernal pools, and floodplain forest. Wetlands of this quality are becoming rare in Ohio. State threatened plants and animals have been found on this site. Sweet flag is found here.  This park is under development and is not yet open to the public. The park sign and kiosk will be erected when the park is open. Park official open will be posted here.
