Ashland County Park District

Along with 2 miles of hiking trails there is a 4 1/2 acre fising pond 12  acre shallow pond complex  and a 2 1/2 acre duck pond. The property was designed to attract waterfowl to the 66 acre wooded park. A mature woods and small buttonbush marsh are also featured in this park. The park is ideal for hiking and bird watching. An observation tower that overlooks the park can be opened upon request and for special events.

Grand opening

Grand Opening of Ashland County Park District's Hurdle Waterfowl Park. Saturday, August 20 at 10:00 am at 293 Twp. Rd 581 Sullivan Township. Dedication program. Guided nature hiking available. Tower opened. Nearly 20 acres of water in 3 ponds & 2 miles of trails. Bird watching. Golf cart available for those with difficulty walking the trails.
